Inspiration

We chose this stream as we understood the need of awareness among people about insurance scams.

What it does

By using our app, you are not prone to insurance frauds and also can select the best insurance plans along with booking an appointment with the best hospitals in your budget just by a few clicks.

How we built it

We built it using Flutter on frontend UI, Ruby on Rails for backend to store User ids etc, Blockchain with the use of Verbwire API for storing the health records of people.

Challenges we ran into

We had a trouble understanding how blockchain works as it was new for us and we also faced a major challenge while we integrated the Flutter frontend with the backend databases.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud to have implemented the blockchain functionality to store our user's health records and Verbwire was a huge boon for us as it helped us directly upload our images to IPFS and the hash easily.

What's next for Unihealth

We plan on adding more features like every patient will get a unique dynamically generated QR after booking an appointment so that the doctor can directly scan the QR to know about the appointment.
