Inspiration

I arrived at the event for tabling for Blackstone Launchpad with almost no in detailed knowledge about what is the event about. The momentum, energy and passion around me at the event triggered interest to participate, I have been a mobile app developer with 7+ years experience and have deployed more than 20+ products to stores with 2M+ users globally, so I thought why not participate just for fun if not for winning with already less time and unprepared mindset in hand.

What it does

I’m thrilled to introduce you to UniDrive, a pioneering platform created to revolutionise how students commute by connecting student drivers with peers who need rides. In short, UniDrive matches students with no cars to students having cars. Students will use their .edu email to register and get approved within minutes using your UID. And then just add your semester schedule, and you're ready to ride. It’s that simple

How we built it

I have designed the app screens in Figma and plan to develop it using Flutter since I am loving what I came up with.

Challenges we ran into

Loopholes and having answers to the questions I was asking myself as if the product was not mine.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really proud of what I have come up with and how I have solved the loop holes and challenges, will be exciting to pitch.

What's next for UniDrive

Get more feedback, tell about the idea to as many people as possible, and develop the product in Flutter where you write just one code and it runs on android, iOS and web.
