Urdu content creators, publishers, and students often struggle to move text between modern Unicode-based platforms and traditional InPage software. This project was inspired by the need for a simple and accurate solution that eliminates manual retyping.
What I Learned
While building this tool, I gained a deeper understanding of Urdu character encoding, Unicode standards, text processing, and the challenges of preserving formatting across different publishing systems.
How I Built It
I developed a browser-based converter that maps Urdu Unicode characters to their InPage equivalents and vice versa. The tool processes text instantly, allowing users to convert content without installing any software.
Challenges I Faced
The biggest challenge was ensuring accurate character mapping and maintaining text integrity during conversion. Handling special Urdu characters and preserving readability across different platforms required extensive testing and optimization.
Outcome
The result is a fast, reliable, and user-friendly Unicode ↔ InPage Converter that helps Urdu writers, bloggers, publishers, and students work more efficiently.
