Coronavirus is having a major negative impact on public transport systems all over the World. Key to achieve our sustainable development goal, it is a priority to enhance public transport services to rebuild the trust of the citizens to avoid a major increase in emissions in urban centres.

By analysing public transportation data, specifically starting from occupancy rate, cleaning practises and spatial information about the public fleet, we provide an accessible way to citizens to plan their urban trips with public transport without compromising their health.

From improving customer experience, we will then focus to improve the public transport fleet efficiency by allowing companies to reduce their operational costs and increase economic performance while delivering improved services.

We aim to start with Milan, one of the cities most affected by the current crisis, and implement our solution mainly focused on enhancing the citizens' experience of taking a bus, a tram or the metro. Once successfully implemented, we will move our attention to other Italian and European cities and then other major urban hubs all over the World.
