Under the Comb

How I Built It

I used a combination of AI animation tools and sound design platforms like Suno and CapCut. Each scene was generated, animated, and timed to mimic a mini-Pixar chase sequence - but with lice as the unexpected heroes. The tone was a mix of cartoon comedy, micro-drama, and real-life parental trauma.

What I Learned

I discovered how powerful AI storytelling can be when humor and relatability meet technology. Even the smallest “characters” can carry emotion, timing, and cinematic rhythm when crafted thoughtfully.

Challenges I Faced

Creating emotional tension with lice was not easy (who would’ve thought?). Balancing humor, disgust, and empathy required dozens of micro-tweaks in timing, lighting, and music. But eventually, I found the perfect balance - turning a common nightmare into a laughable adventure.

Final Thought

This project reminded me that creativity often hides in the most unexpected places - sometimes even… under the comb.
