Inspiration
Inconvenience of carrying cash, and limitations of bank transactions, inspired us to create a middle-point solution to incorporate features from both sides
What it does
Using the app you can send money from anywhere to anyone provided that you have to either have their (1)emirates ID, (2)QR code, (3)Faceprint Regardless if they have a bank account or not.
How we built it
We built the front-end design using figma, one of the best design prototyping tools. And the backend/API interaction is done using go(programming language), since it provides built-in HTTP functionality, and modern software practices, great for quick prototyping.
Challenges we ran into
- Deciding the right technologies for the job, for a balance of being able to quickly make the design/program, and the quality of that product.
- Planning and clearly specifying what the app does, why, and how
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing a fully featured front-end design, with a compatible and a working prototype for the backend. Working efficiently as team, where the tasks were properly divided, and all opinions where heard
What we learned
working well as a team, and learning to make a working project in a short time period, for the first time.
What's next for QwikPay
Expanding the scope and usage of the app, since the more people use it the more powerful its services become. Adding better and stronger security methods.
