Inspiration

We were inspired by learning about the impacts of technology on civilians and wanted more people to know about it.

What it does

Our website informs users of the impacts of evolving technologies on warfare and civilians, and allows them to learn more and share their findings with others.

How we built it

Using repl.it, we wrote code in three languages: CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to create a comprehensive, easily navigable, and user friendly platform. We also used echoAR to include interactivity for users.

Challenges we ran into

Deciding what platform to use to allow all of us to work collaboratively was difficult for us as we had no prior experience with hackathons or group coding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have been able to complete the project as we had been stuck for a while and were not even planning to submit a project. We also were able to use echoAR in our website which was super cool!

What we learned

We learned how to improvise and modify open-source code in order to get what we wanted to display in our website. We also learned how to utilize AR within our website, through research and experimentation with echoAR.

What's next for Evolution of Technology in Warfare Awareness Website

In order to further expand our website, we would need to provide a lot more information and interactivity for users by including various types of simulations and quizzes to test their knowledge and understanding.
