Inspiration

Most information that AI returns are usually outdated to its cut off date.

What it does

Uncover AI retrieves the latest, up-to-date information about a particular topic

How we built it

It uses a svelte frontend, and a echo backend. We also used firebase genkit as well as SSE (Server side events for streaming)

Challenges we ran into

Getting to stream various aspects of the AI response such as reasoning, tool-requests and actual content and representing them correctly in the UI was the most daunting task

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of actually implementing streaming for this application, this enables users to know how AI got to its conclusion

What we learned

Streaming Responses (both from the server and client), Server Sent Events, DOM Manipulation (Svelte Attachments)

What's next for uncover

We plan to massively improve the UI and add extra features such as deep research
