Say you are in a country with that has an idea about free speech that is not quite compatible with that of western democracies. And you are fed up with that. Or just found out the juiciest gossip about the great leader, and you want to share it. What do you do? Get Tor and post it in Facebook/Twitter/you name it? Well, even if these networks do aren't bound by the legal system of the country in question, these governments have many ways to pressure the removal of your content, including fraudulent copyright claims, or even simply threats of cyberwarfere.
