Rooted in the practice of kids exchanging trading cards featuring seniors in Japan’s Gifu Prefecture as portable keepsakes that spark stories, wisdom, and connection, UncBlox channels intergenerational respect into a vibrant multiplayer action arena. In this accurate depiction of San Pedro Tesistan, Mexico, players take on the roles of real-life celebrated elders, each with life-inspired skills, and fight in free-for-all combat to unlock more elders via short autobiography quizzes. Using only the Roblox Studio and assets, our team developed combat and quizzes, iterating through playtests to fine-tune stats, a meaningful map design, and an action-packed time. We're delighted to present a refined, community-rooted prototype that promotes understanding across generations. From this project, we learned the power of culturally inspired design, and next, we plan to deepen elder narratives, refine matchmaking, and expand exploration zones for richer engagement
