Inspiration
I wanted to make a fun and smart game with artificial intelligence. I chose tic-tac-toe because it is simple and has cool math and logic. I used the minimax algorithm, which makes the computer choose the best move.
What it does
My game lets you play tic-tac-toe against a computer that never loses. You can pick your symbol and it deremenies if you go first, or if the computer does. The game has a nice interface, a 3x3 grid, and buttons. The game shows the score and the winner.
How I built it
I built my game with JavaScript and Minimax algorythm. I used HTML to make the graphics and the user input. I used JavaScript to make the logic and the algorithm. I followed the steps of the minimax algorithm and made the game unbeatable.
Challenges I ran into
One challenge was making the minimax algorithm fast and efficient. The algorithm can be slow and use a lot of memory. Another challenge was making a user-friendly and attractive interface. I wanted to make my game look good and easy to use. I used HTML and CSS to make everything.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud of making a working and enjoyable game that shows artificial intelligence. I am proud of using the minimax algorithm, which makes the computer play perfectly. And I am also proud of making a user-friendly and attractive interface.
What I've learned
I learned about artificial intelligence and game theory, and how to use them to make a fun and challenging game. I learned how to use the minimax algorithm, which thinks ahead and chooses the best move.
What’s next for Unbeatable Tic-Tac-Toe
I have some ideas for making my game better and bigger. Some of them are:
More difficulty levels, which change how deep and how random the computer thinks. More game modes, like multiplayer or online. More features, like a timer, a leaderboard, a tutorial, and a history of moves. Bigger board, like 4x4 or 5x5.
