The project focuses on designing and developing a complete, modernised UMRAH Supermarket website alongside a refreshed brand identity. This includes building a fully functional e-commerce platform where customers can easily browse products, navigate categories, access offers, and complete purchases efficiently. A key part of the project is improving the overall user experience through a clean layout, intuitive navigation, and the integration of features such as a loyalty programme and an AI assistant. In addition, the project involves redesigning the supermarket’s logo to create a more professional and recognisable brand image, ensuring it aligns with the digital platform and appeals to a wider audience. Together, the new website and updated logo aim to strengthen the brand, increase customer engagement, and provide a seamless online shopping experience. We also began developing a smart AI-powered assistant for the UMRAH Supermarket website, using Claude's API key in the background, designed to enhance the online shopping experience. The assistant appears as a small, interactive chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the site, allowing users to quickly ask questions and receive instant help. Its main purpose is to guide customers in finding products, navigating the website, accessing offers, and understanding features such as the loyalty programme (e.g. earning U-Points). By providing fast, clear, and helpful responses, the AI agent reduces user frustration, improves efficiency, and creates a smoother, more personalised shopping journey.
