Inspiration
The idea came up at a birthday party. My tired cousin, a primary school teacher, spoke about the time spent writing individual report cards for every student — time she wished she could spend with her family instead of paperwork. When I suggested AI, she was skeptical — so I decided to show that it can work safely, professionally, and in a way teachers truly trust.
What it does
Umiejki is an AI-powered report card generator for primary school teachers. It creates personalized, curriculum-agnostic student reports in under one minute, with no onboarding and no learning curve. The tool works across countries and languages.
How I built it
Umiejki was fully bootstrapped and built by a single person as an AI-first web application, using FlutterFlow and Google Gemini. The system combines structured skills, prompt engineering, and a minimal UI designed for real classroom workflows.
