Inspiration

I am a musician and so I wanted to make something that could relate to my love of music. I also wanted to make this product accessible to non-musicians to have fun jamming out as well. I wanted to create something where you could just fiddle around and have fun with composition without the hassle of learning some of the more complex DAWs. You can use your intuition as this is a very visual platform easy to use. An intuitive place to create and then share with friends :)

What it does

You can record sounds from the drumkit by clicking on the drum images and you can record your voice by allowing access to your microphone. There is also an imbedded keyboard (credits to Keith William Horwood - https://keithwhor.github.io/audiosynth/) that you can play along.

How I built it

I used git version control to build up this website with html/css/javascript. I used webAudio API for most of the audio handling.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It is a lot of fun to play around with and there are fun/cute graphics that make it even more enjoyable :) It really accomplishes my goal to make people happy.

What's next for Um!'s 𝄋+ud!0

Finish the merge button so that you can merge your audio clips into a single audio to download and share with friends :) Also add a record functionality for the keyboard !
