Inspiration

Ultra run meta is a fantasy and platform video game project, which will be based on blockchain. From this video game will come a series of nft collection, the first of which will be "Ultra girl". For the design of the project I was inspired by the games with success of the year 2011 - 2012 such as subway surfers, temple run.my objective is to be able to make revive these games which marked us so much their generation under a new form, in a new technology: the blockchain.

What it does

one of the most important parts was designing the nft collection - "ultra girl"- because it is what would make the project happen. For this, I learned to model much faster, to manage the lighting and to remove the assets well.

How we built it

To build my project, I started by looking for what these video games don't have, and what I can add to make them more amazing. And so I made a list:

  • create a multiplayer video game where days can run and meet in different universe. -Add items that have more value to the players (nft items for example, that the players can discover in the game and return them later to earn money (uos) -Allow players to fight each other, not only by running, but also by using weapons, magic items, etc. This way the game can be even more dynamic -etc Once I realized the general idea of the game, I moved on to the realization of the main character.I did research on the fantasy style to which I added my cartoon style.Hence the concept of platform fantasy game.

The main goal of the collection is to be part of the video game community, but also to participate and benefit from the advantages of the team and the collection.

what does that mean?

It means that a part of what we earn will be redistributed to a part of the community to thank them, so the members of our community will not only support the project, but also earn and participate in the project.

Moreover, owning elements of our collection will allow them to have many advantages in the video game that will be released.

Challenges we ran into

My biggest challenge was to optimize the 3D file of the project. With the large number of assets and 3d objects in my scene, my machine had bugs and so it was quite difficult to work on it. the research and selection of ideas was also a quite delicate task, because having several ideas in mind it was quite difficult to choose the best one. there is also the low computing power of my computer which was quite a big problem to make the 3D renderings. i had to decrease the quality of the images in this case.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I learned to work on a pretty big project even though I was on my own, I'm pretty proud of the result I got. It wasn't easy all the time since I also had to go to university. I know I could have done better but I'm pretty proud of myself for all the work I did.

What we learned

I learned to better manage my time to work on projects; I better understood the challenges of nfts and blockchain.

the next step is to be able to realize our project, develop our community and at the same time participate in the emergence of Ultra
