Inspiration

I found inspiration for this as I wanted an app that had everything that we needed to be able to plan a trip, including maps, bots, routes, and activities to go to, all in one app.

What it does

It uses real-time maps using the Leaflet Map API, has built-in AI assistance to find the best trips and activities for you, and allows you to save your past maps with your account to view them later on. Maps are comparable by weather and shows for the next 5 days. Has AI assistance to help find the best deals on the market.

How we built it

This project was developed with a full-stack architecture to provide the best user experience possible.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges including how to add complex AI integrations into our project, as well as figuring out how to use Node to keep our backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how we were able to make such a clean website with good UI/UX and use complex APIs, like GEMINI API and LEAFLET, to make our project stand out.

What we learned

This really helped with teamwork, as without others, this ambitious project wouldn't have been possible, as well as really understanding a full-stack multipage application.

What's next for Ultimate Travel Guide

Whats next for Ultimate Travel Guide is that we are going to hotels and routes to travel to using our knowledge, and expand our bots to keep learning from users.
