Inspiration

My inspiration emerged after using chatgpt website. It was then i realised how it can be easy for people to learn new things through the power of Ai, i went further to analyse the limitations of the website and challenged myself to build an advanced application that would run on mobile phones, with more advanced features such as voice notes and video chat aiming at making the conversation more realistic and aiding users to attain information easily.

What it does

The application uses the power of AI to respond to user questions, it answers its users both through text message and voice notes. initially a user is required to sign up, after registration is complete, signed up credidentials can be used to login in and enjoy the application features

How we built it

The application involves the use of 3D model humans for video chat interactions that are from the botlibre website. Training of the model was done using the brainshop website. Authentication was handled with firebase, and the technology used to build the application was Android Java.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge i ran to was the lack of having no playstore account to appload the project, this issue makes the project not discoverable to the world. Other major implementations of the applications are still pending due to lack of no enough capital to facilitate these ideas to happen.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud to finally deliver what was in my mind to reality. Implementing all these features and finally producing a product that can be used and enjoyed by users is something that i am very grateful for.My passion is to solve challenges facing my community with technology, thus with this project made possible, i believe that a challenge is being solved.

What we learned

I have learned that nothing is possible and every thing initially starts with an idea. I have learnt that encountering something hard should not make you backdown rather stand up and fight for what you planned for. I can say , that the development of this project wasnt easy, it involved sleepless nights, but im happy that today i showcase it to the world.

What's next for Uliza Ai(Ask Ai)

New more features are going to be added soon, with chatting section completed, next step would be analysing and selecting another cartegory to be added to the app, such as weather prediction.
