Inspiration

Graduating College and entering the work force can be a daunting task for most. The Millennial generation is full of young people willing to start their career in a city far away from there home town or college. Most of their concerns is meeting new people and not being alone in a new city. That is where Ulife comes in! Ulife is a centralized hub where like minded people based on interests, passions, and aspirations can meet to attend events within their community.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge is having enough users to start. Our application only works when other users are on to connect with each other. Our marketing strategy will be for the start.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of winning a business plan competition and being selected a 1 of 6 start ups in Philadelphia to make it in the Ballard Spar program. This program includes $10,000 of lawyer fees, a prominent mentor in Philadelphia, and the opportunity to pitch to venture capitalist in May.

What we learned

We have learned a lot about our community and the different ways people connect with each other. The more people that we talk to who are just starting their career and new to a city the more evident Ulife can help and change people's lives.

What's next for Ulife

We are starting Ulife in Philadelphia only and plan to expand to the rest of the United States if possible. Our goal is to make the transition easy and fun for people new to a community.
