Inspiration
Both of us are from places where single-use E-cigarettes are banned (UK and Taiwan). While nicotine pouches seemed like a rising alternative, there wasn't much diversity in the industry.
What it does
That's why we're introducing Uli, a design-focused, sleek, and refillable alternative to boring male-dominated products on the market. The brand revolves around intentional design, premium feel, and discreetness. With the case coming in at only 0.39 inches thick, it takes up 1/3 of the space a traditional puck would. With a satisfying magnetic closure system and a finger loop to spin around, we believe nicotine isn't the only thing that can be addictive - the packaging can too.
How we built it
Everything was cadded out on Fusion 360 and rendered in Keyshot. The slidedeck and branding were made on Figma.
Challenges we ran into
Making a physical product is always a challenge when you're up against the quickness of prototyping software products. The entire 3D-print cycle took 4 hours which was doublesd when our first print failed. We would have loved a smoother first prototype but we're happy with what we got in this time frame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
By telling our friends about the project we're working on, we have already had 5 people who have shown interest in pre-ordering.
What we learned
High quality Keyshot Renders of our product can take up to 2 hours each to load.
What's next for Untitled
Another round of designs and printing. There are still numerous amounts of form factors to consider.
