Inspiration
The project was inspired by the idea of combining a premium seasonal e-commerce experience with modern Web3 payments. The goal was to create a New Year 2026 atmosphere that feels elegant, minimal, and conversion-focused while introducing crypto checkout in a way that feels natural and trustworthy for users.
What it does
This upgrade refreshes the store’s UI with a luxury New Year theme (midnight blue, black, and gold accents), improved typography, better spacing, and smoother interactions. Alongside the visual improvements, it introduces a non-custodial MetaMask checkout, allowing customers to purchase products using ETH, USDT, or USDC with clear transaction status feedback.
How I built it
The UI redesign focuses on refining existing React components instead of rebuilding from scratch. Layout systems, product cards, and hero sections were restructured to improve hierarchy and responsiveness. For crypto payments, a frontend Web3 integration was added using wallet connection, transaction handling, and UI states for pending, success, and error flows.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I’m proud of achieving a clean boutique-style interface without overcomplicating the existing architecture. The wallet integration keeps the checkout decentralized while remaining easy to understand. The redesign also improves readability, spacing, and overall conversion focus compared to the original layout.

What's next for UI Upgrade + Crypto Payment Integration
This project reinforced how important UI clarity is when introducing Web3 features into traditional e-commerce. Even small design changes—like spacing, typography, and motion control—can dramatically improve perceived quality. I also learned how to structure crypto payment states in a way that reduces user hesitation.
