Inspiration
My parents and the friends of my parents are shop owners. However, in the process of buying and refilling their stock or even selling the items, they often get mixed up on what they have already bought or sold. Therefore, I decided to help them track their sales and stock with this inventory management app I have created. This will help them because, the papers they wrote their sales and stocks they used would have no use anymore though they always ended up getting lost.
What it does
Ufanisi shop dashboard is an inventory management app that allows shop or business owners to track their sales and stock bought. This helps in reducing the mix-ups that are always involved in the running of businesses in terms of sales and buying of stock.
How I built it
I used php, html, css and Javascript to build the app. It involved different frameworks which I tried out like bootstrap css. We used php for the backend and the rest for the front-end and functionality.
Challenges I ran into
I had code issues venturing into an new language which is php.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I finished the app and after testing with local shop and business owners, they reported that it worked well.

I learnt the art of problem solving and looking for entreprenurial opportunities
What's next for UFANISI SHOP DASHBOARD
I want to use AI so that the shop owner does not have a lot to deal with. The AI tool will help in better organisation and faster editing
