I directed the official music video for Ezhel’s track “Uchigatana,” and the entire video was created using artificial intelligence. It is a fully AI-generated music video in which every shot and scene was produced with AI tools rather than traditional filming.

While designing the visual world and the scenes, I generated more than 15,000 images and used over ten different AI tools. Kling 1.6 and Magnific proved to be the most stable companions throughout the process. Visually, the video combines elements of Istanbul’s atmosphere with Far Eastern imagery, resulting in a cinematic look that many outlets have described as almost indistinguishable from reality.

When you generate a large number of scenes with different AI tools, continuity becomes one of the biggest challenges; keeping the characters, the colors, and the overall atmosphere consistent is challenging. On top of that, the visuals needed to feel “real,” not artificial. My goal wasn’t to create a technological showcase, but to build a story that delivers an emotional connection.

Combining different locations and aesthetic styles — especially blending Istanbul with Far Eastern influences — required careful planning to maintain a coherent tone and visual identity throughout the video. I created a fully AI-generated video that still manages to feel cinematic and cohesive. Many viewers even questioned whether the images were real or artificial, which, to me, is the clearest sign that the emotional tone worked beyond the technology. Sharing the finished video with the Artist and receiving a positive reaction from him was absolutely the most rewarding moment of the entire process.
