Inspiration
What inspired us was a common problem we've seen across school clubs. There would often be times where both clubs booked the room causing headaches for both clubs.
What it does
Our Application is a centralized scheduling platform where Clubs can intuitively use and people who manage room schedules can easily approve or deny room booking requests
How we built it
We built our application over 2 days using Nextjs for the front end, and postgres for the database hosted on Neon.
Challenges we ran into
A lot of errors that we ran into were type errors, config errors and syntax errors.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud to have gotten a working product with comprehensive functionality
What we learned
We learned that some bugs that have a simple solution can take forever to figure out sometimes
What's next for UA-booking
We plan to add additional features in the future. Allowing people to search for rooms using natural language
