"U SAFE" is a mobile phone or tablet application which educates young individuals or workers who are not familiar with OSHA standards and their rights in the workplace.
The main page of the app has ten questions. If a question pertains to the user, the individual can click on the question which brings them to a secondary page providing a high-level overview of the requirements pertaining to the subject matter within that question (i.e.Do you use LADDERS? The secondary page would list requirements pertaining to ladders).
If the user would like additional information, a link directs you to OSHA's website containing subpart or standard.
This is a dynamic application which can continue to evolve. The questions can change based on the season of the year (questions pertaining to heat stress for the summer), or the type of industry (construction, agriculture, general industry, maritime).
