Inspiration

I was inspired by all the typing games on the web, so I wanted to try my hand at it

What it does

You supply a word or string of words and if the character doesn't match it it would highlight the character

How we built it

I used JavaFX to create it and I only used one class

Challenges we ran into

I had trouble transferring data between scenes in JavaFX and this is my first time using JavaFX as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I made it work, because I didn't think I could. Specifically, I am proud of the bulk of the program because it looked like it was really complicated by I learned it pretty quickly.

What we learned

I learned my weaknesses in my skill set and I now know where to focus my improvement on, which is app development and the development process as a whole.

What's next for Type Writer

I want to streamline it and make it more and more like the other games online. I may also switch it to something like ReactJS because there are more CSS styling options, and the things you can do with JavaFX are pretty limited and it is a very old piece of software.
