InInspiration:
I noticed that most health tracking tools either feel too complicated or ask for personal data that people, especially women, don’t feel comfortable sharing. I wanted to build something that feels simple, safe, and respectful of privacy.
What it does: Tynra.AI is a Chrome-based wellness companion that helps users track their nutrition, water intake, sleep, exercise, and daily notes — all locally on their device. It uses built-in AI APIs to analyze food and habits, give nutrient insights, and offer gentle daily advice. No servers, no sign-ups — everything stays private and offline.
How I built it: I used Chrome’s built-in AI APIs with JavaScript, HTML, and local storage to process data right inside the browser. The AI runs locally and provides explainable, human-readable feedback. The UI was kept clean and bilingual (English/Hindi-friendly) so anyone can use it easily.
Challenges: Balancing accuracy with simplicity was tough. I had to design advice logic that feels warm and personal without being medical. Making everything work offline and ensuring privacy took extra effort.
What I learned: I learned how AI can be powerful even without the cloud — and how thoughtful design can make technology feel more human.
What’s next: I plan to improve the nutrition estimation and add more modules for reproductive health, mood tracking, and smart local notifications — while keeping everything ethical, transparent, and local-first.This project was built solo as a small step toward making everyday health tools more empathetic and privacy-focused.spiration
