What it does
Muzones - Users can define an area on a map to which a Spotify playlist can be assigned. Then, when a user enters one of their "Muzones", the Spotify API will play that playlist on their device. This creates the experience of having your own soundtrack, with the background music changing depending on your location. Hype Mix at the gym, Study Mix at the library, Chill tunes at home. Join a group to share music with your friends, allowing you to explore new music naturally throughout your day.
To test out MuZones, ensure that you have connected your spotify account. Now when adding a zone, you should be able to see your own playlists and select one. Then in the zones section of the app, you can press the simulate here button to simulate entering the zone and it should play the playlist on spotify. To make sure this works, you need to have the spotify webplayer or the spotify app open on the device you are testing muzones on
Echo - Users can read and leave messages at their current location for others to find. An asynchronous social platform about leaving little notes.
How we built it
We used a combination of AI platforms to aid rapid prototyping, including repl.it, Antigravity, and Copilot. Both apps are made in react native to allow for easier cross compatibility between web, Android, and IOS.
Challenges we ran into
The main problem for us was Ideation. This took a large proportion of our total time which meant we had limited time to actually create the applications. We then also had to shift from our initial idea due to spotify API change limiting the number of users that an app could connect to.

What's next
Fleshing out these web applications so that they can fully be utilised on mobile
