What it does
A simple web application developed to showcase the usage of 2 factor authentication. There are 3 main endpoints.
- Register - Used to register a new account. Once registered the user would then receive an otp to the phone number that was specified when registering.
- Verify OTP - Used to verify a given user. Providing an invalid OTP would result in an error. When the correct OTP is provided, the user would be verified and provided with jwt token.
- Get protected resource - Used to obtain the protected resouce. In order to access this resource, the user must be a) verified and b) provide a valid jwt token.
How I built it
Built using nodejs, express, mongodb and twilio sdk.
