Twitter Tweets Analyzer

This web app takes a Twitter handle, and retrieves all of their tweets. It performs Sentiment Analysis and User Modeling (through IBM Watson) to analyze the user.

FUNCTION The web app takes a Twitter handle and does one of two features

Retrieve all of the handle’s tweets and perform Sentiment analysis on them to return the controversial ones Retrieve all of the handle’s tweets and use IBM Bluemix’s Watson User modeling service to analyze their personality (primarily according to Big 5 Personality Traits http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Five_personality_traits)

● Provides relevant news articles from during perspectives for tweets. ● Uses entity recognition and sentiment analysis combined with custom heuristics to score retrieved news articles on relevance and saliency. ● Tech Stack: Chrome Extension (JavaScript), Google Cloud Natural Language API, Twitter API, News API & Flask (Python)
