Twitter "not so animated" bot

Inspiration

We wanted to create a twitter bot for the MLH Local Hack Day: Build daily challenge with a tint of our love for music.

What it does

It posts random lyrics in the form of tweets when you want it to.

How we built it

We built it using Python language with the help of Gspread and Google Cloud Console(and of course YouTube).

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard time with the Twitter API tokens which expired very frequently.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have created something alien to us up until now.

What we learned

We learned how bots work and that it can't work without a person behind it(stupid computers right🙄).

What's next for Twitter "not so animated" bot

We'd like to automate it in the future so that it becomes a fully functional bot!
