Inspiration
I was inspired by a research project I wrote about how Twitter sentiment is a valuable resource in the stock market. I wanted to automate my findings using programming.
What it does
A stock/company can be entered in and a sentiment value will be displayed (not a real value yet)
How we built it
We bounced between a few languages and frameworks such as Python, Flask, and React but could not achieve a working solution. Ending up using JS, HTML, and CSS just to mock up our design add a visual component of our idea.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges with Azure access led us to not being able finish the project. Currently we are using dummy data and this project is not functional.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of participating
What we learned
Programming has a lot of moving parts that much line up together in order for a product to work.
What's next for Twitter Analyzer
Hopefully we can figure out how to use Twitter API and Azure to let us complete this project in the future!
