Twilio Replying to SMS messages

Inspiration

• MLH: Global Hack Week challenge

What it does

• Replies to a SMS message with the web application

How we built it

• Used python and flask to build the web application
• Used ngrok to make the application visible from the web
• Set up Twilio webhook to the application
• Added an endpoint to the web application to handle Twilio webhooks
• Wrote TwiML to respond to the message and return that response to a webhook

Challenges we ran into

• Slight bugs in my code

Accomplishments that we're proud of and learned

• Learned so much about Twilio! I've really sent a message and replied back and I'm proud of myself
