Inspiration
I learned to send sms messages from the Twilio API stream.
I am also aware that the theatre community are eager to perform again.
What it does
The application sends an sms marketing message to a "customer" letting them know that they can make bookings for shows from 21st June.
How we built it
The application is written in C#.
Challenges we ran into
I wanted to make this more sophisticated but kept encountering new and confusing technology. So I decided to follow the KISS principle for now and adapt something which currently works!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I set up everything correctly to make the message send successfully.
What we learned
I learned how to send a sms message with Twilio.
What's next for Twilio App
I'd like to be able to take messages from a spreadsheet or file of a few imaginary customers. I could also create a sign up for updates via sms which could be advertised on a mock theatre website.
