Inspiration

We wanted to work with large data, and have some fun. With recent interesting developments on Twitter, we thought it might be a good idea to work with tweets and financial data.

What it does

Takes tweets related to companies (hashtags, founders) and uses it to make trading decisions. Also presents the 'sentiment report' of the day based on the tweet.

How I built it

We used pandas, tweepy for data scraping/cleaning and used d3.js and node for setting up our data visualization + API.
