Inspiration

Many people struggle with reading but don’t know why. Dyslexia is often misunderstood, diagnosed late, or unsupported. We wanted to create both a first step for awareness and a practical tool for everyday reading.

What it does

TvitCheckAI is a friendly chatbot that offers a short dyslexia screening and clear, easy-to-understand information. In parallel, we are building a dyslexia-friendly reader app to help users read and listen to text more comfortably.

How we built it

Designed a structured conversational flow with simple questions, numeric answers, and clear result messages. The screening is research-inspired and optimized for accessibility, while the reader app focuses on reducing reading effort.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing usefulness with responsibility was critical. We avoided medical claims while keeping the screening meaningful, and ensured both the chatbot and reader experience remain simple and non-overwhelming.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a safe, non-judgmental screening experience and connected it to a real solution — a reader app designed for dyslexia-friendly reading and listening.

What we learned

Early awareness is powerful, but support tools matter just as much. Clear language, ethical boundaries, and accessibility-first design make a real difference.

What's next for TvitCheckAI - Dyslexia screening

We plan to refine screening logic, expand languages, and fully integrate TvitCheckAI with our dyslexia reader app, offering screening, education, and assistive reading in one ecosystem.
