Inspiration

The idea comes from using images with audio for training or visual and audio effects. Many builders have tv or displays without movement or audio. Also many wanted to play music or additional instructions in their worlds.

What it does

This custom script animated images within a CUI and add audio for each CUI like a tv channel or slideshow. This script can be modified for photo frames, presentations, and more.

How we built it

With the help of meta AI and type scripting we were able to create this script with a tv asset. Creators will have to create their own images and audio to manual input in script properties. Just click on the TV to change the CUI channels and audio for each CUI or click on the Image CUI to upload your own images.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge was how to ask AI to help develop this concept, for example to play audio with the current CUI and hide the others and how to create triggers that shows the next or previous CUI images.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy this works well because it allows us to animate images like slides to create TV assets, interactive touch screen lessons, or instructions for creators and visitors.

What we learned

We have discovered that many builders still need assistance in learning how to build. It would be great to have a visual and audio tutor while building or even give players and visitors visual and audio content.

What's next for TV Slide Show CUI with Audio

Our next project is to provide the images and audio for various needs, tutorials, promotions and more. Will updated with power off, remote, and even place inside of drivable vehicles.
