We ran into many problems in this hack.... first we had decided to make a bill spliting app on top of ethereum blockchain. Unfortunately every thing about that project went wrong right from the start. Having no prior experience of building decentralized apps on ethereum, it was all uncharted territory for us.... not only that but the builds kept failing because of dependency issues. There were also no coherently helpful blogs or tutorials available that helped us in this situation.... In the end about halfway through and that killed all our momentum.It was a fire sale .... nothing was working and no one knew anything. Also being this our very first hackathon we had really no idea what to expect. In the end we had to build a decentralized app so we kept going on through it. Probably not a good application but atleast we are happy that we learnt something new in these 30 hours that we were not aware of
