Inspiration
I was inspired by the world of AIs, and how I myself can develop one that guides specifically users who are students with their specific age, and grade level.
What it does
Answers using the student's question, and holds it to a standard depending on their grade level. It also has modes depending on if the user wants a quick synopsis, a full on quiz, or a tutoring lesson.
How I built it
With the help of AI, parents, and youtube videos I used Python and JS to code my website. I also used various plugins such as Lucid to make the website, font, and buttons look nicer to the eye.
Challenges I ran into
-Getting the frontend to work, I had to troubleshoot and mess with a bunch of code to get the java script working. -The API key funding, I did not even know I had to fund the API key in order for the AI to actually work. -The agents for the backend, I had to spend quite a bit of time writing descriptions for the AI agents in order for them to understand what the student is asking, and what the subject matter is.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
First of all, I am just proud of pulling this off, I would never have gotten and opportunity like this at all, and I would have not developed anything close to this at all. Second of all, the things I have learned from this, I am still going to develop and take this website to higher levels even if I do not win anything in this competition, I still want to innovate.
What I learned
I learned the basic layouts for JS files, how JS works, and the amount of plugins JS has available and how pretty it can make a website look. I also learned how to "run" a frontend and backend in a local server which was extremely useful for testing.
What's next for Tutorme.ai
I am nowhere close to done with this website, I have big plans for this website such as developing an app for it, and overall just innovating more.
