Inspiration

Many students have not been able to reach their full potential because they are limited by the resources that they are given in their community. We feel that these young scholars should not be held back from reaching their success.

What it does

TutorMeApp provides a numerous variety of educational subjects that students can access. High school students can watch tutorials, short and long depending on the intensity of the subject, and are guided through practice problems that will improve their understanding of the subject. Juniors and Seniors are guided through the college process, and more specifically how to find and apply for scholarships. Young adults who drop out of high school are given the necessary resource that they will need to obtain their GED. In order to keep the students engaged, there will be a badge system, where students who are showing noticeable progress will receive badges and rewards. For example, if a student completes a lesson on vectors in Physics and completes the practice problems, they will receive a badge in that subject. Potentially, if their teacher wants to reward them, they can give the student a homework pass or buy them lunch.
