✨ Inspiration In many parts of the world, especially rural and underserved communities, students lack access to qualified tutors and personalized learning support. We wanted to build something that makes quality education more inclusive, accessible, and tailored to individual learning needs—regardless of location, language, or economic background.
💡 What it does TutorAI is an AI-powered educational assistant that provides:
Personalized tutoring for subjects like Math, Science, and English.
Multilingual support, allowing students to learn in their preferred language (starting with English, Hindi, and Tamil).
Real-time interactive feedback to guide students through difficult topics.
Progress tracking for students, parents, and educators.
Voice input and output, making it accessible for early learners or visually impaired users.
It’s a learning companion designed to support students 24/7 and adapt to their pace and understanding.
🛠️ How we built it Frontend: React.js for the web interface / Flutter for mobile (cross-platform)
Backend: Firebase for authentication and data storage
AI Engine: OpenAI API for tutoring logic, GPT-based chat responses
Voice Features: Web Speech API / Google Cloud Text-to-Speech
Languages: Integrated translation support for Tamil and Hindi using Google Translate API
We built a clean, friendly chatbot interface where students can type or speak questions and receive instant answers with explanations.
