Inspiration

We were inspired by our own experience as educators, as well as a desire to encourage others to spread their knowledge

What it does

Connects students with tutors, depending on the needs of the student, as well as the knowledge level of the tutor

How we built it

We built it using a modified MEAN stack, with MondoDB replaced with Firebase, and Angular with base HTML and JS

Challenges we ran into

Due to the modified stack there were certain issues that arose with properly connecting the disparate aspects of the app together

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am personally proud that we had gotten as far as we did on such an unconventional stack Jacob is proud of the landing pages Jidé is proud of the feasibility of the app, the logo he designed, and the meaningfulness of the app

What we learned

That a heavily modified stack can be disastrous

What's next for Tutor4U

Begin with a restructure, into Angular, and then onto implementation of payment and matching features
