Inspiration

Dating app and peer tutor app.

What it does

Gives a chat interface for peer tutoring. Connects a tutor with a student of the same subject. Provides ai features like using ai to create a problem for the students to solve. Includes gamification like duels where a student and a student tutor can 1v1 in doing questions.

How we built it

Python, QT for gui, Socket for server client network communication, google-genai for gemini integration, huggingface for llama integration.

Challenges we ran into

My groupmates didn't contribute as much. There were bugs that we didn't know how to approach at first

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The entire project is a accomplishment that we are proud of.

What we learned

Some new coding and debugging skills. Teamwork and perseverance.

What's next for Tutor Me

We will continue to improve this project into a more functional and feature-rich tutor app.
