Tutor Finder

Inspiration

Making it easier for students to find me durring my tutoring hours.

What it does

Allows students to either post that they are looking for, or offering, help for a specific class.

How I built it

Using GUI elements in java.

Challenges I ran into

The login and graphics involved with the map gave us a fair bit of difculty, we had to resort to having a log in for test purposes only.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Managing to get this much done and still manage to finish my pride an joy, Miami driving sim.

What I learned

Implementation of 2D graphics.

What's next for Tutor Finder

Adding more universities, chat features to make it easier to coordinate with tutors and students, as well as group chats for entire classes. A mobile application as well as a web application would be our first priority as well as implementing actual logins.
