Tutor Connect is a website that helps students and tutors connect virtually.

Inspiration

Online education has developed so much in the past year with Zoom and videos. We want to connect students and tutors to create a more interactive experience for learning.

What it does

The website allows tutors to create their own profile for students to match and connect with.

How we built it

We built the front-end using html, css, javascript and react. Auth0 for the login page and security. Google cloud to store data. Domain.com is used for hosting the website.

Challenges we ran into

Losing three team members during hackathon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Pushing ourselves to try new technologies and persevering despite the setbacks.

What it is like developing a project with a group of people, the hackathon experience, and learning new technologies.

What's next for Tutor Connect

We are looking to make a mobile app similar to the website.
