Inspiration
The inspiration for this project arose from a passion for technology and history. As an Egyptian, I wanted to create an app that would make learning about Ancient Egypt, with its rich history, mythology, and architectural wonders. I was particularly inspired by the idea of enabling users to actively participate in the story, making their own choices and shaping the outcome.
What it does
The app idea is to take users on a captivating journey through the fascinating civilization of Ancient Egypt. It combines the elements of storytelling and interactive dialogues to immerse users in an engaging learning experience. By making decisions that impact the narrative, users uncover additional information about Ancient Egypt, fostering a deeper understanding of this ancient culture.
How we built it
I started by diving deep into the documentation provided by PartyRock platform to familiarize myself with the techniques required to build an interconnected widgets. Understanding the underlying principles of generative AI and prompt engineering was crucial for developing the interactive dialogues and decision-making mechanics.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main hurdles was designing the decision-making system and ensuring that user choices had a tangible impact on the narrative by continuously fine-tuning the prompts to generate coherent responses.
