Inspiration
We took inspiration from tutorial sites such as WikiHow or YouTube, trying to adapt the idea of tutorials into the context of Augmented Reality.
What it does
It helps to visualize tutorials in a more immersive and interactive way, making it easier for the end user to follow the tutorial and achieve its goal (learning to cook, changing a tire, doing electronics...)
How we built it
The prototype that we built was mainly done in Flutter, with tiny bits of Java and Kotlin to get the demo working, and the video demo was edited by one of us to show how it would work.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was understanding the Flutter language and trying to implement the APIs necessary for the demo to work, but in the end, we opted for a different approach to make things easier for us
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We stuck together until the end, working as a team facing the challenges one by one, and we are proud of that. We have confidence in ourselves and in our idea.
What we learned
We learned some things in Flutter and Kotlin, so much so that some of us would be interested in diving into that world on our own to expand our fields of knowledge
What's next for TUTO_AR
We will be attending more hackatons, and keep developing our project if it catches the juries' attention
