Inspiration

What inspired me to crate Turtle Trouble was the theme. As soon as I heard that the theme was environment my head jumped to turtles, because they are a clear example of the changes we have made in the environment.

What it does

In the game Turtle Trouble, you play as a turtle trying to escape plastic, predators and the city lights. The small game teaches the user how difficult it is to be a young turtle on the beaches today.

How we built it

With PyGame library under Python

Challenges we ran into

We had to scale down the features we wanted to do because of time limits

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making the surf flow back and forth rhythmically, at first it was static

What we learned

Python is fun and easy to program in and we have some ideas to add

What's next for Turtle Trouble

Adding educational content about the lifecycle of sea turtles and how the environment affects them
