Inspiration
To make an amusing game while also incorporating elements from real life to sensibly educate the younger generation about the consequences of recyclable waste to ecosystems (specifically on turtles) and ways to diminish our unsustainable habits.
How we built it
Lots of brainstorming to create a solid foundation on the theming and the mechanics needed to implement the idea. We used Unity to build the project.
Challenges we ran into
The entire team was unfamiliar with the Unity environment, we faced many challenges in debugging and planning the infrastructure of our game.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have successfully developed the barebone components needed to further improve our project given the time constraint.
What we learned
We got the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with new technologies and programing languages, in particular Unity.
What's next for Turtle-kun
Perhaps when the day comes, Turtle-kun will see the light of day once more, and shall be fully produced as an Alpha-product as a passion project amongst the team.
