What it does

• Tries to offer a solution to ridiculous ER wait times

How we built it

• Tried to use the web framework Phoenix in Elixir lang, with psql

Challenges we ran into

• underlying complexity due to bad design choices on initialization - major headaches
• troubles getting tools installed on all our computers
• lack of elixir documentation made Twilio use more difficult than necessary
• for fastest development a more basic framework might have been useful

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• learned something new about UN problems
• met new people
• thought more tech in the sustainability space

What's next for TurnStile

• continue to work out the bugs
• OR would like to redo it in a more popular language with more support
• try to add more features and functionality, and upscale the project
