TURNLOOM helps slow and AAC speakers hold their place in a changing group conversation. A participant anchors a reservation to a statement, privately prepares a contribution, signals readiness, and explicitly approves sharing. The discussion can continue while the original branch remains available, so the participant can return to the intended point.
Manual anchors work without recording or transcription. The local prototype uses participant ownership and revision checks for reserve, edit, ready, withdraw, and share actions; edits invalidate earlier approval, and public room views exclude private drafts. Documented browser checks exercised fictional multi-participant scenarios and corrections for delayed responses replacing newer saved words. These checks establish software behavior, not AAC efficacy.
The repository includes a Nemotron integration. Actual project-specific inference and benefit over the manual-anchor baseline remain unverified. No unfinished contribution is shared without approval.
